Jenny
Jenny was a guest presenter/correspondent at a Women of Letters literary event in early 2010 and it was my job to photograph her. Snap. Snap. Each shot was truly gorgeous! She reminded me of a young Stevie Nicks; all doe-eyed, gentle swagger and shiny hair. And she had fabulous tattoos adorning her arms too which I couldn’t stop staring at. On hearing her read a letter penned to her first pin-up at this event, I’ll freely admit that I questioned “How on earth can one person be so freaking cool?” Jenny is indeed an A+ individual.
And like the modern ladies that we both are, soon after this event we struck up a friendship via Facebook and gained further insight into each others existence. Jenny is more widely known as a writer, journalist and editor however she is also someone who has a wonderful sense of daring and challenging herself. Don’t believe me? Please do go and explore her incredible blog Hey man, now you’re really living which documents 365 days of Jenny doing something she has never, ever done before. It is truly excellent! She has just commenced her next lifestyle adventure Hey, great job where every Friday she tries out someone else’s job. It has some great pictures too.
I went to visit Jenny and her adorable pet bunny in her cosy country cottage on a freezing winters day where we talked, ate scones and made many a bad pun about cream in a can.
